Adam plays 4 string jazz and precision basses, a 5 string jazz bass and a custom made fretless chambered 4 string bass.
After stints with the NYJO Academy band and the Royal Academy of Music Junior Jazz (JRAM) course in London Adam won a scholarship to study for a BMus in Jazz at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and graduated with a first class honours degree.
Adam and Ollie Canham (guitar) won the Phil Miller Guitar Prize with a duo performance in 2022.
Adam has performed at a number of venues and festivals in the UK and Europe including the Royal Festival Hall, Ram Jam Records, Karamel Club, The Jazz Centre UK, the Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Eastside Jazz Club, The Night Owl, Hockley Social Club (Birmingham), and venues in Prague, Budapest, Ljubljana, and Montreux.
